I'm new in this forum, just found this great forum about Lupo 3l so thought you might give give me some help. I'm big fun of Lupo 3l so few weeks ago bought one from swiss but it turned out to be my nighmare car. From day one i had problems with gearbox, while driving sometimes the car didn't want to shift gear and it stands in iddle.

Jul 26, 2013 #1 This is mainly related for ANY and AYZ engine codes information. The 1.2 TDI has stock 360er injectors, but some later models might have little bit bigger ones. From factory engine came with 61 hp and 140 NM. Bone stock lupo 3L or audi A2 3L can deliver max roughly 90 hp and 250 Nm.

23 Nov 2017. #19. The A2 1.2 TDi is much lower weight than the 1.4 petrol car - especially in D4 format. The 1.2 has thinner front windscreen, narrower wheel arches, aluminium subframe (Petrol has steel), aluminium lower wishbones (not steel), the 1191cc engine weighs around 100kg (much lighter than even the AUA).

Just don't go to Volkswagen, go to an independent workshop which knows how to deal with Lupo 3L. Volkswagen cost a fortune and they don't know anything about Lupo 3L. The forum is great for Lupo 3L owners in Sweden. Best regards from Nicholas in Sundsvall

Noting like the 3L will ever be replicated again and sold to the consumer it was basically a concept car that made it into production as a real world eco R&D project. The new Polo Bluemotion comes very close in fuel consumption (3.3 L/100 km versus 3L/100km for the Lupo), though it's a lot bigger and far safer.

Lupo 3L problems starting. My Lupo 3L had some problems starting up now and then. Maybe once in a week it required several attempts to startup the motor. Other startups went just as normal. Then it stopped running. The startup spins the motor like normal, but it doesnt start. It has been in a repair shop for a week now and they havent got it.
